Who is Nathan?
I am what you get when you mix a small town, art school attending, sheep farming boy from Washington State with an internationally renowned architecture firm – a passionate creative, with an eye for current cultures and trends. After extensive travel through Europe and Asia working with design and development teams on projects across the globe, I have been able to absorb both new and relevant architecture, urban design, photography, and art scenes. These are passions which I carry directly into my work. With this, my foundational principal is that good design is nice to have, but the real impact comes from clear, educated, progressive and environmentally responsible design and a satisfied client. My design perspective and sense of collaboration with you can elevate your project to greater success. A graduate of The University of Washington, and resident of Seattle for more than twelve years, I moved to Denver in 2007 to take on the role of Director of Design for Alberta Development partners. In early 2009, Nathan Jenkins Studio was started. Currently, I am an active participant in the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAAP), the Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED, AP),and the American Institute (AIA) of Architects Colorado. I also volunteer for a number of regional charities both as volunteer and photographer.
My name is Nathan Jenkins and this is who I am.
